Being anonymous does not mean being hidden. I’m not worried about hiding my identity. It means, however, wanting the music to have its own name. It means defeating the ego in a glorious and epic battle of chords. It means letting everyone imagine their own life in each song without having an artist’s image on it. It is letting music triumph, transport, and heal. That was, is, and should always have been the goal of art.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

These are many of the songs that I composed on guitar for my daughter. They were made from honesty and the deepest love that can exist on earth: love for children. When that honesty appeared, it was overwhelming because it wasn’t just mine; it belongs to all of us who believe in life, truth, or ethics. When I started recording these songs\u2014first with a phone!\u2014they took on a life of their own that I understood should be free. If this happens when you listen to it, if the universe I saw can also be seen by others, then the music will have triumphed. And in the silence, I will be happy.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

These are songs for the future. It speaks of a message, of a place to go, or of a place to remember. We are nothing if we do not remember. It is also a declaration of principles and an act of rebellion against the current world of music. We can make art with better intentions. That should be the future.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Thanks to all those who support this daring idea and for keeping the secret. I only ask one thing in return: that you share it, that you give it away, that you enjoy it, and that we all succeed in this wonderful musical adventure. My daughter and I will.<\/p>\n
